Honey Oatmeal Bread

Well today I was considering oatmeal, suppose to be good for cholesterol and steel cut oats are suppose to make really good oatmeal. I tried to make some oatmeal and burned the oats to the pan. Luckily, soaking the pan got the oats off the pan bottom. Chalk it up to just dumb luck.

“Marzidoats and dozidoats and little lamzidivie,
A kiddeldie divey too, wouldn’t you?”

Well anyway, I did get to eat some semi-cooked steel cut oats. Next time we will try soaking overnight, like is recommended.

I did find this recipe for Honey Oatmeal Bread, and that was a bit much, so I decided I had to make it. As you can see, that project was completed and the bread came out pretty awesome. I could have kneaded it a bit more and I gave it extra time to rise, so the bread came out a bit soft with a nice crusty crust. So I was satisfied. The recipe is copyrighted, so I can’t give it out here, but can be found on the website and the recipe is called, Honey Oatmeal Bread II.
